Roger Klotz is Doug Funnie's green-skinned school rival and one of the most prominent troublemakers in Bluffington. Although he often bullies Doug and plays practical jokes on his classmates, Roger becomes a more sympathetic character as the series develops. He is older than many of his classmates after being held back in sixth grade and initially lives with his divorced mother in a trailer park. Roger also has a creative and unexpectedly artistic side, with talents that include music, drawing, and ballet.
