Porkchop is Doug Funnie's loyal pet dog and one of his closest companions throughout the Doug franchise. Although he communicates mostly through barks, gestures, and expressions, Porkchop often understands Doug's feelings and helps him through difficult situations. He is unusually intelligent and capable for a dog, with talents ranging from acting to tap dancing. Porkchop also takes on the heroic identity of Quaildog during Doug's imaginative Quailman adventures.
