📖 Biography
Shan Yu is the ruthless leader of the Hun Army and the main antagonist of Disney's Mulan. A formidable warrior and military commander, he leads an invasion of China with the goal of defeating the Emperor and proving his supremacy. His brutal tactics, immense strength, and willingness to kill without mercy make him a terrifying threat to Mulan and the Imperial Army. Although Shan Yu is ultimately defeated by Mulan, he remains one of Disney's most intimidating villains.

Shan Yu's name is possibly derived from Chanyu, a title used by rulers of several Inner Asian nomadic peoples.
