📖 Biography

Cogsworth is the Beast's proper and tightly wound majordomo in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, transformed into an enchanted mantel clock by the Enchantress's curse. As the castle's self-appointed voice of reason, he takes his duties seriously and tries to keep the household running according to the Beast's rules. Although he often clashes with the more carefree Lumiere, Cogsworth is loyal to his friends and ultimately supports Belle and the Beast's growing relationship. His cautious personality, dry humor, and devotion to order make him one of the film's most memorable enchanted servants.
