LeFou is Gaston's loyal and often bumbling sidekick in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. In the original animated film, he enthusiastically supports Gaston's plans while frequently becoming the target of his friend's jokes and mistreatment. The 2017 live-action adaptation gives LeFou a more sympathetic personality, showing him gradually questioning Gaston's increasingly cruel behavior before turning against him.
