📖 Biography
Asami Sato is the wealthy heir to Future Industries and a talented engineer, driver, pilot, and martial artist in Republic City. Unlike most of her closest friends, Asami is a non-bender, relying instead on her intelligence, technology, and combat training. After discovering her father's connection to the Equalists, she rejects his cause and becomes a trusted member of Team Avatar. Her relationship with Korra eventually develops into a romance that continues in the official comics.
