📖 Biography
Mako is a talented firebender who grew up on the streets of Republic City alongside his younger brother, Bolin, after their parents were killed. He becomes a successful pro-bender with the Fire Ferrets before joining Korra in the fight against the Equalists and other threats. Serious, protective, and hardworking, Mako eventually builds a career in the Republic City Police Force and rises to become a detective. His story also explores his complicated relationships with Korra and Asami while emphasizing his strong sense of duty and responsibility.
