📖 Biography
Edgar Balthazar is the scheming butler at the heart of Disney's The Aristocats. After discovering that Madame Adelaide Bonfamille intends to leave her fortune to Duchess and her kittens, Edgar plots to get rid of the cats so he can inherit the wealth himself. Although outwardly polite and sophisticated, his greed, impatience, and determination turn him into the family's chief adversary. His increasingly clumsy attempts to carry out his plan give the film much of its comic villainy.
