Marceline the Vampire Queen is a thousand-year-old vampire and musician who has spent centuries surviving and exploring the Land of Ooo. As the daughter of the human Elise and demon Hunson Abadeer, she has a complicated history shaped by the Mushroom War, her relationship with her father, and her bond with Simon Petrikov. Beneath her rebellious attitude and love of music, Marceline is deeply caring and loyal to the people she considers family. Her friendship and eventual romance with Princess Bubblegum become an important part of her story.
