Nala is a courageous lioness from the Pride Lands and Simba's childhood friend in Disney's The Lion King. After Scar's rule leaves the kingdom suffering, Nala bravely ventures beyond the Pride Lands in search of help and discovers that Simba is still alive. Her determination helps convince Simba to return home and reclaim his rightful place as king, and the two eventually become mates and rulers of the Pride Lands.
