📖 Biography
Li Shang is the disciplined captain of the Imperial Chinese Army and a central supporting character in Disney's Mulan. The son of the respected General Li, he is tasked with training a group of inexperienced recruits before leading them against the invading Huns. Although strict and highly focused on duty, Li Shang gradually recognizes Mulan's courage and abilities and becomes one of her strongest allies. His leadership, determination, and growing relationship with Mulan make him one of the franchise's most memorable heroes.
