Dodie Bishop is one of Ginger Foutley's closest friends in As Told by Ginger, where her outspoken personality and fascination with popularity often drive the story. She loves gossip and keeping up with the school's social scene, but her desire to fit in can sometimes lead her into dishonest or overly dramatic schemes. Despite her flaws, Dodie is deeply loyal to Ginger and Macie and usually tries to make things right when she goes too far. As she grows older, Dodie becomes more mature and eventually marries Chet Zipper and has a daughter.
