📖 Biography

Colonel Hathi is the pompous and disciplined leader of the Jungle Patrol in Disney's The Jungle Book. A former war elephant who proudly recalls his military service, Hathi approaches life with strict regulations, marching drills, and an exaggerated sense of authority. Despite his stubbornness, he ultimately helps search for Mowgli after his wife Winifred and their son convince him that the boy is in danger. His military mannerisms, forgetfulness, and booming commands make him one of the film's most distinctive comic characters.
