Spike is the tough and short-tempered bulldog from Tom and Jerry, often becoming involved when Tom's schemes disturb his peaceful life. Although Spike can be intimidating and quick to anger, he is also a devoted father who fiercely protects his young son, Tyke. His enormous strength and imposing presence make him a formidable opponent for Tom, while his softer side occasionally brings out an unexpected friendship with Jerry. Spike's combination of aggression, loyalty, and comic frustration has made him one of the series' most memorable supporting characters.
