📖 Biography
Shunsui Kyoraku is a veteran Soul Reaper who first serves as Captain of the Gotei 13's 8th Division before becoming Captain of the 1st Division and Captain-Commander. Shunsui Kyoraku often appears carefree, preferring sake, games, and leisurely conversation, but his relaxed personality conceals a sharp strategic mind and considerable combat ability. A former student of Genryusai Yamamoto alongside Jushiro Ukitake, he has centuries of experience as a captain and understands the difficult choices that leadership can require. His dual-bladed Zanpakutō, Katen Kyokotsu, allows him to turn children's games into dangerous battles governed by special rules.
