📖 Biography
Mai is a Fire Nation noblewoman and one of Princess Azula's closest friends and allies. Despite her quiet, bored demeanor, she is an exceptionally skilled fighter who can defeat opponents with remarkable precision using throwing knives and other bladed weapons. Her feelings for Zuko eventually become stronger than her loyalty to Azula, leading Mai to defy her former friend and help Zuko escape. Her dry humor, emotional restraint, and fierce loyalty make her a memorable supporting character in the Avatar universe.
