Jinbe is a whale shark Fish-Man and the helmsman of the Straw Hat Pirates. Known as the “Knight of the Sea,” he is a former captain of the Sun Pirates and former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Jinbe is defined by his strong sense of honor, loyalty, and commitment to peaceful coexistence between humans and Fish-Men. After forming a close bond with Monkey D. Luffy, he eventually joined the Straw Hat crew and became one of its most dependable senior members.
