📖 Biography
Carl Fredricksen is a retired balloon salesman and the widowed protagonist of Pixar’s Up. After losing his beloved wife Ellie, Carl refuses to abandon the home they shared and attaches thousands of balloons to it, carrying it toward Paradise Falls in South America. His unexpected friendship with young Wilderness Explorer Russell gradually brings warmth and purpose back into his life. Though initially stubborn and lonely, Carl ultimately learns that his greatest adventures are found in the people he cares about rather than in any destination.
