📖 Biography

Prince John is the greedy and insecure ruler of England in Disney's Robin Hood, taking the throne while his older brother King Richard is away on Crusade. Obsessed with money, power, and royal status, he imposes crushing taxes on the people of Nottingham while using the Sheriff of Nottingham to enforce his rule. Despite his position, Prince John is cowardly, emotionally immature, and easily frustrated, especially when Robin Hood repeatedly outwits him. His combination of vanity, greed, and comic weakness makes him one of Disney's most memorable villains.
