Dug is a lovable golden retriever living in the wilderness around Paradise Falls, where he belongs to a pack of dogs trained to hunt a rare flightless bird. His special high-tech collar translates his thoughts into speech, revealing a sweet, simple-minded dog who is often mocked by the other members of his pack. After meeting Carl and Russell, Dug discovers friendship and finally finds a group that accepts him for who he is. His cheerful loyalty and constant enthusiasm have made him one of Pixar’s most beloved animal characters.
