Nova (Richard Rider) is an ordinary teenager who was chosen by the dying Xandarian Rhomann Dey to inherit the power of the Nova Corps. Granted the incredible Nova Force, Richard became Earth's protector against cosmic threats and eventually one of Marvel's greatest space-faring heroes. His courage was tested during galaxy-spanning wars, where he often stood as the last surviving Nova Corps member. Despite wielding immense power, Richard remains defined by his determination, humility, and willingness to sacrifice himself for others.
