📖 Biography
Max is Prince Eric's loyal Old English Sheepdog and a memorable companion in Disney's The Little Mermaid. Playful, affectionate, and highly perceptive, Max quickly takes a liking to Ariel and can recognize her even when Eric cannot. His exceptional sense of smell and protective instincts repeatedly help the people he cares about, especially when he senses that Ursula's disguise as Vanessa is dangerous. Max also returns in the sequel and television series, remaining a beloved member of Eric and Ariel's family.
