📖 Biography

Grandma Tala is Moana's wise, free-spirited grandmother and one of the most important influences on her life. Known around Motunui as the village's eccentric storyteller, Tala preserves the history of her ancestors and understands Moana's deep connection to the ocean. She encourages her granddaughter to trust her instincts and embrace the calling that others do not understand. After her death, Tala returns as a manta ray spirit, continuing to guide Moana on her journey.
