Fairy Godmother is the kindly magical guardian who comes to Cinderella's aid when she has almost lost hope of attending the royal ball. With her wand and a little encouragement, she transforms Cinderella's torn dress, a pumpkin, and several animals into the elegant trappings needed for a night at the palace. More than simply providing magic, she restores Cinderella's confidence and reminds her to believe in her dreams. The character has since appeared across Disney films, books, television productions, and video games.
