Tsunade is one of Konohagakure's Legendary Sannin and a descendant of the Senju and Uzumaki clans. Renowned as an exceptional medical ninja and one of the strongest kunoichi in the shinobi world, she eventually returns to Konoha and accepts the mantle of Fifth Hokage. Tsunade becomes an important mentor to Sakura Haruno, passing on her medical expertise and extraordinary physical strength.
