Sylvester is the mischievous black-and-white cat best known for his relentless pursuit of Tweety Bird and other elusive prey. Although he is persistent and often clever, his elaborate plans usually end in spectacular failure thanks to his own mistakes or the quick thinking of his targets. Sylvester's exaggerated lisp, dramatic reactions, and stubborn determination have made him one of Looney Tunes' most recognizable characters. Beyond Tweety, he has also found himself chasing characters such as Speedy Gonzales and Porky Pig.
