📖 Biography
Shanks is the captain of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the Four Emperors of the sea. He once served as an apprentice aboard Gol D. Roger's ship before building his own reputation as a powerful and influential pirate. Shanks became an important figure in Luffy's childhood after saving him from a Sea King and entrusting him with his treasured straw hat. Calm and good-natured most of the time, he becomes fiercely protective when his friends or crew are threatened.
