Scorpion is the iconic undead warrior of Mortal Kombat, originally known as Hanzo Hasashi, a skilled Japanese ninja and leader of the Shirai Ryu. After his clan and family were murdered, Hanzo was resurrected and transformed into Scorpion, becoming a relentless agent of vengeance. Though his rage has often placed him at odds with Earthrealm's heroes, his sense of honor and desire to protect others have gradually made him a powerful ally. His mastery of hellfire, weapons, and martial arts has made Scorpion one of gaming's most recognizable fighters.
