Little John is Robin Hood's closest friend and one of the most trusted members of his band of Merry Men. In Disney's Robin Hood, he is reimagined as a large, good-natured bear whose strength and loyalty make him an invaluable companion to Robin. Though he can be cautious when a plan becomes particularly dangerous, Little John consistently stands beside Robin and helps defend the people of Nottingham from Prince John's oppression. His humor, courage, and dependable nature have made him one of the most recognizable versions of the legendary outlaw's companion.
