📖 Biography
John Smith is a brave English explorer and sailor who arrives in Virginia with Governor Ratcliffe's expedition in Disney's Pocahontas. John Smith initially views the Powhatan people with suspicion, but his relationship with Pocahontas changes his understanding of their culture and challenges his assumptions. Courageous and adventurous, he ultimately stands against Ratcliffe's desire for violence and exploitation. His character is loosely inspired by the real historical English explorer of the same name.
