📖 Biography
Jessie is a spirited cowgirl rag doll who joins Woody and Buzz's group in Toy Story 2 after being rescued from collector Al McWhiggin. Her earlier experience with her owner Emily abandoning her leaves Jessie deeply afraid of being forgotten, but her lively personality and love of adventure gradually overcome those fears. She becomes a loyal friend to the other toys and develops a particularly close bond with Buzz Lightyear. After Woody's departure, Jessie takes on a leadership role among Bonnie's toys and becomes the new sheriff of the toy room.
