Giulia Marcovaldo is an outgoing and adventurous girl who spends her summers in the seaside town of Portorosso. A passionate reader and eager learner, she befriends Luca and Alberto and invites them to join her in competing for the Portorosso Cup. Although she faces bullying from Ercole and initially struggles with feeling isolated, Giulia proves to be a loyal and determined friend.
