Eustace Bagge is the cranky, greedy farmer who lives with his wife Muriel and their dog Courage in the isolated middle of Nowhere. Eustace Bagge is notorious for teasing and frightening Courage, often calling him a “stupid dog,” while his jealousy contributes to their strained relationship. Despite his selfish and abrasive nature, Eustace occasionally shows genuine concern for Muriel and even works with Courage when she is in danger. His obsession with money, his truck, and getting the better of Courage makes him one of the series' most memorable comic characters.
