Donnie Thornberry is the feral young son of the Thornberry family in The Wild Thornberrys. After losing his biological parents to poachers, he was raised by orangutans before being adopted by Nigel and Marianne Thornberry. Donnie communicates mostly through animal-like sounds and behavior, but beneath his chaotic nature he is brave, affectionate, and fiercely protective of his family. His wild instincts and boundless energy frequently turn ordinary Thornberry adventures into unpredictable escapades.
