Donatello is one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the team's resident scientist, engineer, and inventor. He first appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 in 1984, created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Usually recognized by his purple mask and bō staff, Donatello combines impressive ninja skills with a remarkable scientific intellect. His curiosity, technical expertise, and calm problem-solving make him an essential member of his family and team.
