Aang is the last surviving Air Nomad and the Avatar, a powerful figure responsible for maintaining balance between the world's four nations. Aang is an airbending prodigy who was discovered frozen in an iceberg after disappearing for a century. With Katara, Sokka, and his other friends, he travels across the world to master the elements and end the Fire Nation's war. His playful nature, compassion, pacifism, and determination define him even as he faces the enormous responsibility of being the Avatar.
