Clyde McBride is Lincoln Loud's best friend and one of the most important supporting characters in The Loud House. Clyde is kind, intelligent, loyal, and a little awkward, often joining Lincoln on adventures and helping him with elaborate plans. He shares Lincoln's love of video games, comic books, and science-fiction movies, while his nervous personality can sometimes get him into amusing situations. Clyde is also the adopted son of Howard and Harold McBride, making him the only main character in Lincoln's close friend group who is not part of the Loud family.
